MOVEability is committed to the safety of children and young people, we want all children and young people to be safe, happy and empowered.
We support and respect all children and young people, the families and support networks of these children. We acknowledge and accept diversity in all children and young people irrespective of their abilities, gender, social or cultural background.
We have zero tolerance of child harm or risk of harming, and all allegations and safety concerns will be treated very seriously and consistently with our robust policies and procedures.
As allied health professionals working with children we are mandated notifiers as legislated in the Children and Young People (Safety) Act 2017, Child Safety (Prohibited Persons) Act 2016 and the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations. We have legal and moral obligations to contact authorities when we are concerned about a child or young person’s safety, which we follow rigorously.
